Harambee Sustainability Project is an education and sustainability based effort. The goal of the organization is to link student communities in the U.S. with rural communities living in poverty in order to provide them with the resources they need in order to flourish as an economically independent and self sustained community. The project focuses on providing basic necessities to communities that include access to basic healthcare, education, food, and water. This is done through the contruction or improvement of local clinics, wells, and farming programs. The results of project efforts are twofold; they provide communities with the basic resources they lack while also providing a source of income.
